Bulgari constructs its bracelets like pieces of mechanical goldsmithing. The Tubogas<\/strong>, a flexible tube coiled without any visible soldering, must retain its spring tension: a slack example cannot be restored. The Serpenti<\/strong>, with its articulated scales, is assessed by the fluidity of its articulation and by the condition of the lacquer or enamel between the scales.<\/p>\n

Bulgari readily mixes materials, and this changes everything in the assessment. An all gold B.zero1, a steel and gold model and a version with a ceramic insert are not comparable. Black ceramic scratches little but chips on the edges, steel wears well but reveals successive polishing, gold remains the most stable value on resale.
