Founded in Milan in 1967 by Pino Rabolini, Pomellato invented an idea that was new at the time: jewellery worn every day, like clothing, rather than a jewel kept in the safe and brought out for grand occasions. Handcraft remains central, with every piece passing through the house's workshop, and coloured stones play the leading role.
| Collection | Distinctive feature |
|---|---|
| Nudo | Bare faceted stone, with no visible prongs, on a two-tone band |
| Iconica | Gold chain with sculpted links, worn stacked |
| Sabbia | Irregular pavé of diamonds in mixed shades |
| Tango | Supple set mesh, fluid drape |
| M'ama non m'ama | Single stone on a fine band, petal-shaped |
House hallmark and serial number, gold fineness, colour and liveliness of the stones in the Nudo collection, evenness of the pavé on Sabbia pieces, suppleness of the links. Every piece is appraised before being put on sale and sold with its certificate.
Yes in most cases, since the band is not set. We state the adjustment margin before purchase.
Dodo is Pomellato's sister line, lighter and more playful. The two brands belong to the same group but are intended for different uses.
