Elegant and particularly discreet, this A. Lange & Söhne Langematik reference 308.027 perfectly embodies the approach of German fine watchmaking: understated aesthetics combined with particularly refined mechanics.

Its 37 mm 18-carat white gold case has proportions that are highly sought-after today for a dress watch. It houses a black dial featuring a big date at 12 o’clock and small seconds at 6 o’clock.

The watch is powered by the in-house L921.4 automatic calibre, visible through the sapphire case back. This movement notably incorporates a micro-rotor as well as the ZERO-RESET mechanism, which stops the small seconds and instantly returns them to zero when the time is set. Its power reserve is approximately 46 hours.

This reference, which is no longer part of the A. Lange & Söhne collection, is a particularly interesting alternative to the Manufacture’s contemporary production, with its restrained diameter and the timeless elegance of the white gold and black dial pairing.
