Founded in Geneva in 1993 by Fawaz Gruosi, de Grisogono made its name with a bet no one had attempted at this level: turning the black diamond, until then regarded as an industrial stone, into the heart of a high jewellery house. The result, opulent and instantly recognisable, left its mark on the 2000s on the Riviera and in Saint-Tropez.

The house ceased its activity in 2020. The pieces are no longer produced and now circulate only on the pre-owned market, which makes them sought after today by lovers of 2000s jewellery. Every piece we offer is appraised in Saint-Tropez and sold with its certificate.
Yes. It is a diamond whose density of inclusions gives it its opacity. It is worked differently from a white diamond and is harder to polish.
The house no longer provides after-sales service. Any work goes through independent workshops, which makes the original condition all the more decisive for the value.
Francine Joaillerie is an independent house specialising in pre-owned pieces and is not affiliated with any of the houses mentioned.
